This guy shows signs of burning great!
I kept my grill last year and I was not sure that this grid would live to fly, but after a week of grilling am very happy with the Q320. This grill heats up quickly and has a very smooth surface temps. Not much else to say, I am very happy so far.

Just a suggestion to perhaps compare an analysis of the GISS surface temp data to Satellite data and the NOAA US surface temp data to Satellite temp data.
If I recall correctly, doesn't the RSS data have numbers for the Continental US? How easy would it be to compare that to the US surface data from the NOAA for the same period..
It would be interesting to see if there is a significant correlation between troposphere temps and US surface temps, to possibly demonstrate how far out of whack the GISS surface temps are.
Dewitt,
Great job. I realized that the moon does rotate. Two weeks of sunlight aught to be long enough for the surface to come to equilibrium as you showed. Surprised that it took so long to get there.
Working your model in reverse, one could estimate the soil heat capacity if one knows the moon surface temps when it is unilluminated.
One might note that the reflection from the earth may not be negligible, especially for the unlit condition where a bright earth competes with the 4K background.
Again, great analysis.

I never could get anyone to contemplate the sea floor volcanic vents, pumping out 5,000 degree water (under pressure, yes those temps are easily obtained as it cannot become steam, expand and cool). If a lot of them pumped copious quantities, and warm water rises, why would it, could it, not warm sea surface temps? And then add to evaporation, and thus to rain (if, cooled, and if condensation nuclei)… But even so- if all the ice on greenland melted, some say the sea level would rise. I say- like an old geology teacher told me decades back, that the land would rise under greenland, as well as the sea bed would, under the extra weight, depress… There are so many checks and balances built in to this planet that I find it amazing that dems are blind to god. But,it is sad, the criminally insane dems think that they are so special that they can make the world absolutely danger-free, even to changing the CLIMATE, and that they are so blessed that knowing all, they can just sweep aside…

Earth-like planet 600 light-years away with spring day-like surface temps via EarthSky by EarthSky on 12/7/11 A team of researchers has discovered the first super-Earth orbiting in the habitable zone of a star similar to the sun. It’s called Kepler 22b, and it could be a large, rocky planet with a surface temperature of about 72 degrees Fahrenheit, comparable to a comfortable spring day on Earth. This landmark finding will be published in The Astrophysical Journal. This artist’s conception illustrates Kepler-22b, a planet known to comfortably circle in the habitable zone of a sun-like star. Image credit: NASA/Ames/JPL-Caltech The discovery team used photometric data from the NASA Kepler space telescope, which monitors the brightness of 155,000 stars. This discovery is the first detection of a possibly habitable world in orbit around a sun-like star. The host star lies about 600 light-years away from us toward the constellations of Lyra and Cygnus. The star has a mass and a radius only…
